NaOH installation in progress for GTS (BE)

Ekopak is currently building up a new installation at GTS, a terminal operator in the port of Ghent specializing in transport and tank/bulk storage. For its operational expansion, GTS wants to dilute sodium hydroxide from 50% to 30%, a process that requires high reliability and a constant supply of softened water.

Our team is providing a compact, maintenance-friendly solution including a triplex water softener, salt bins, a buffer tank, redundant pumps, and a customized control panel.

Start ceremony at Agristo Masa (IN)

At Agristo Masa’s start ceremony, our colleagues from GWE Manila, Ekopak’s subsidiary, joined the traditional coconut-crushing ritual, symbolizing a safe and positive start on site.

We will deliver a comprehensive water and wastewater treatment installation with Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology.

The project was announced in our press release of March.

Tailor-made water treatment for E.ON Power Plants Belgium

At E.ON Power Plants Belgium, efficiency and sustainability are key. On the Imerys site in Willebroek, E.ON is responsible for a modern energy recovery facility.

To ensure a reliable water supply for the steam boiler, Ekopak developed a custom water treatment solution that converts rainwater, condensate, and municipal water into high-quality demineralized water. 🌊

Belgian Entrepreneur’s Day

In November, we were honored to host a delegation for Belgian Entrepreneur’s Day, an initiative by UNIZO (the Belgian association of entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized enterprises). We welcomed Leentje Grillaert (Belgian federal parliament member) and Jos Vermeiren & Johan Michels from UNIZO East Flanders.

The visit offered an inside look at Ekopak’s new headquarters in Deinze, and how we exemplify the perfect synergy between sustainability and innovation in the industrial sector. Key messages included the need for a workable policy for companies that want to invest in sustainable technologies.
