PRESS RELEASE
Manila, Philippines – October 23, 2024 – 14.00h PHST
Ekopak, a company specializing in circular water solutions, is pleased to announce the opening of its new, larger office in Manila (Philippines). On top of this celebration, Ekopak, in close collaboration with our colleagues at WaaS Asia, signed a contract with a major client in Singapore.
The new office, officially inaugurated by CEO Pieter Loose and Business Unit Manager Uli Ombregt, will support the company’s rapid growth and enhance its ability to deliver sustainable water management technologies across the region.
“We currently employ about 53 people in Manila, our previous office was too small to meet the company’s growth. This new space will allow us to better serve our clients and expand our team.”
Uli Ombregt – Business Unit Manager Global Water & Energy
“Our new office will strengthen our mission to help companies implement circular water systems and comply with local wastewater discharge regulations through our wastewater treatment solutions.”
Pieter Loose – CEO Ekopak Sustainable Water
Ekopak Group’s client portfolio in Southeast Asia includes renowned multinational corporations such as Nestlé, Mars, and FrieslandCampina. Recently, the company received two purchase orders from Lotus Bakeries Thailand related to a high-quality water treatment installation and a waste wastewater treatment installation. In addition, in conjunction with WaaS Asia, Ekopak signed a reference contract to provide a process water installation for a major energy player in Singapore.
The new office and the strong progress made by Waas Asia reflect Ekopak’s continued commitment to addressing water challenges in Southeast Asia through innovation and sustainable practices.
